# Get crop details

> Fetch a single admin crop's full reference data by ID or name.

GET https://www.wiseyield.co/api/v1/crop-library/crop-details
```

### Authentication

Requires a key with the `library:read` scope.

### Query parameters

One of `adminCropId` or `name` is required.

<ParamField query="adminCropId" type="string">UUID of the admin crop.</ParamField>
<ParamField query="name" type="string">Crop name (case-insensitive exact match).</ParamField>

### Response

Returns the admin crop wrapped under `data`. See [Search crops](/api-reference/crop-library/search-crops) for the full field reference.

## Errors

| Status                    | When                                            |
| ------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| `400 VALIDATION_ERROR`    | Neither `adminCropId` nor `name` provided       |
| `400 INVALID_ID`          | `adminCropId` is not a valid UUID               |
| `401`                     | Missing, malformed, expired, or revoked API key |
| `403 INSUFFICIENT_SCOPE`  | Key lacks `library:read` scope                  |
| `404 NOT_FOUND`           | No matching admin crop                          |
| `429 RATE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED` | Per-user rate limit reached                     |
| `5xx`                     | Server error                                    |
